“Every end is a new beginning”
At the beginning of February, A relationship came to an end. Coping with this loss, I sought comfort in taking photograhps and started a small series.
With my camera dangling over my shoulder, I began to walk with no specific goal or destination in mind.
Just me and this little black metal box with its glass eye. I went out at nightfall and wandered until the light of day left the stage and made place for the dark of night. I found comfort in empty streets and fields, wintery landscapes, and in the waves of the sea. Through these wanderings, I realised that photography is not only about creating art, capturing beauty, or freezing a moment in time. It is also a very therapeutic act.
