Photographic diary (June)
Just a bag on my back and a camera around my neck. I travelled through Athens, Rome, and North of Italy, Switzerland, and France. Roamed the busy streets of Athens and Rome and found quietness in the Alps and Dolomites.
Once back home, I put up my work for my second exhibition this year. This time in the Westerkerk in Leeuwarden. Which will be on view till September. This also marks my first time exhibiting portraits.
Which brings me to the portraits taken this month. Instead of making use of soft light, I wanted to play with the harsh direct summer light and the shadows it brings with it. I’m planning on taking more portraits to work on my portfolio and get better at taking portraits. With as goal, taking portraits for the newspaper.
