This month was filled with photograhpy.
I took plenty of pictures and had an assignment. Picked up three new photobooks I want to share with you. “Hold still Sally mann” “A Photographer's Life, 1990-2005 Annie Leibovitz” and “transcripts of a sea Stephan vanfleteren" Worked on a new series, and took more portraits. The light as the season is slowly changing to a wintery feel. The days are getting shorter, and the light has moved to the opposite wall of my Atelier. The light is becoming softer day by day. As every winter comes, I get inspired by the absence of light, the night. For the next year, I will be working on a new series that requires me to explore the night. Equipped with my camera and a flashlight, I wander through dark fields and desolate roads.
Beginning of next month, I will put up a new exhibition, which will include two new framed works. The exhibition will take place in St. Antonius ziekenhuis in Sneek. The 15 works will be on display from October to the beginning of January. This exhibition marks my 4th exhibition.
